Lorenzo Rios
Lorenzo Rios is the CEO of the Clovis Veterans Memorial District. He works closely with all Veterans Organizations, Military Units, Community Service Organizations, and providers of services to military members, veterans, and their families that seek to improve their quality of life. In his personal time, he works with Boys Scouts and local schools to develop youth leadership. He is an active community leader seeking to bring the best out of the Central Valley of California to fruition by facilitating collaborative networks that share resources and leverage collective talent to make a difference in our community by promoting responsible civic engagement.
Lorenzo is a decorated veteran who retired after 23 years of combined active-duty service with the United States Marine Corps and the Army. Lorenzo serves as the Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army, advocating for service members and their families in the Central Valley of California.
Lorenzo is a change agent with expert skills in building strong collaborative teams. Career reflects success in developing innovative programs that spark organizational creativity, improve productivity, morale, safety, and healthy diverse networks with dynamic leadership development systems.
A seasoned executive at senior levels with extensive experience in leading large organizations with specific expertise in government relations, Congressional affairs, advocacy, strategic planning, operations, and business continuity. He also has demonstrated leadership experience in the non-profit arena, both in management and on the boards of non-profit organizations supported by development and fundraising programs.
Lorenzo is a proud father to three boys who have earned their Eagle Scout rank and are active in their community and a husband to a remarkable woman who has recently graduated Law School and has stood by his side through multiple deployments supporting military family programs while raising three amazing young men of character.
